  14) SEPTEMBER 21, 1998 HEARING
(with comments and observations
              from the webmaster)
THREE MORE PROSECUTION WITNESSES WERE PRESENTED DURING
THIS HEARING. THE FIRST WITNESS WAS MANUEL RODRIGUEZ, THE ALLEGED PHOTOGRAPHER. THE
SECOND WAS THE EMBALMER, DIONISIO ENAD. AND THE THIRD, A POLICE OFFICER, SPO1 ANTONIO
                     SABAL, JR.
UNFORTUNATELY, THE ACCUSED WERE STILL NOT BEING REPRESENTED BY LAWYERS OF THEIR
OWN CHOICE. IF THEY WERE, ANY LAWYER WOULD HAVE PUNCTURED THEIR TESTIMONIES FULL OF
HOLES. THE COURT APPOINTED PUBLIC DEFENSE LAWYERS, KNOWING THAT THEY WERE NOT THE
CHOICE OF THE ACCUSED, DID NOT ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE DELIBERATIONS.
