                                                MARIJOY HOME FROM SCHOOL A COUPLE OF TIMES.
 

                               5) AUGUST 19, 1998 HEARING THE VICTIMS' MOTHER, THELMA CHIONG  IS CROSS-EXAMINED 
                                               BY THE DEFENSE. 

                               6) AUGUST 20, 1998 HEARING STAR WITNESS DAVIDSON RUSIA IS CROSS-EXAMINED AND
                                               THEN JUDGE ORDERS END OF CROSS-EXAMINATION OF THIS WITNESS OVER THE STRONG OBJECTIONS 
                                               OF THE DEFENSE LAWYERS.

                              7) AUGUST 24, 1998 HEARING DEFENSE LAWYERS FILES MOTION TO INHIBIT AGAINST JUDGE 
                                               OCAMPO. THE JUSTICE DECLINES, FORCING THE LAWYERS TO WITHDRAW EN MASSE FROM THE CASES.

                                                         MISS KONAHAP TESTIFIED SEEING THE CHIONG SISTERS WITH LARRAŅAGA AND AZNAR AT THE 
                                               AYALA CENTER. LIKE THE PREVIOUS WITNESS, MS. SHEILA SINGSON, KONAHAP ALSO FAILS TO COMMENT
                                               ON THE HEAVY RAINS THAT NIGHT.

                             10) SEPTEMBER 8, 1998 HEARING (with comments and observations from

DAY THREE (3) OF THE TRIAL WITH THE ACCUSED STILL NOT BEING REPRESENTED
                                                WITH LAWYERS OF THEIR OWN CHOICE. 
                                                         IN THIS HEARING, JUDGE OCAMPO TRIES TO JUSTIFY HIS EARLIER RULING OF SACRIFICING 
                                                 THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT OF THE ACCUSED TO A FAIR TRIAL FOR THE SUPREME COURT'S 
                                                ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER FOR A MANDATORY, CONTINUOUS TRIAL. 
                                                         THE PROSECUTION WITNESS PRESENTED THIS TIME ROLANDO DACILLO, WHO UNKNOWN TO THE 
                                                COURT AT THAT TIME, WAS, AND IS STILL IS A POLICE ASSET. 
                                                         ALSO, A PATTERN ON HOW THE WITNESSES ARE TESTIFYING  AGAINST SOME OF THE
                                                ACCUSED IS BEGINNING TO EMERGE. 

                             11) SEPTEMBER 10, 1998 HEARING (with comments and observations from

DAY FOUR (4) AND STILL THE ACCUSED ARE NOT REPRESENTED WITH LAWYERS 
                                                OF THEIR OWN CHOICE. 
                                                         IN THIS HEARING, JUDGE OCAMPO ORDERS THE PRIVATE PROSECUTOR TO REPRESENT HIM AT THE
                                                HEARING FILED BY DEFENSE LAWYER  ARMOVIT WITH THE COURT OF APPEALS, PRAYING THAT JUDGE 
                                                OCAMPO INHIBIT HIMSELF FROM FURTHER HEARING THE CASE.  
                                                        AYALA SECURITY GUARD WILLIARD REDOBLES TESTIFIES.

                                                ABOUT THE WALK OUT OF THE DEFENSE LAWYERS. 
                                                         TWO WITNESSES ARE PRESENTED.  THE FIRST, A RENT-A-CAR DRIVER BENJAMIN COLINA, AND THE 
                                                SECOND, A BUS DISPATCHER AND ROLLING STORE OWNER, MIGUEL VERGARA.

A GOOD PORTION OF TODAY'S HEARING IS AGAIN DEVOTED TO THE OLD ISSUE OF
                                                THE ACCUSED NOT BEING REPRESENTED BY LAWYERS OF THEIR OWN CHOICE.   
                                                        TWO MORE WITNESSES TESTIFIED IN THE SAME CONDITIONS, MAKING AS OF TODAY, EIGHT
                                                 PROSECUTION WITNESSES PRESENTED IN COURT WITHOUT BEING CROSS-EXAMINED BY THE 
                                                 DEFENSE. DRIVER ALFREDO DUARTE WALKED 50 METERS AT 1:30 IN THE MORNING FROM HIS HOUSE TO 
                                                 BUY BARBECUE AND BABY'S MILK; WHILST SHOEMAKER ROSENDO RIO TESTIFIED THAT HE DELIVERED 
                                                 SHOES AND SLIPPERS TO MANTALONGON VERY EARLY THAT MORNING.
                                                      THE SAME STYLE AND MANNER OF TESTIMONIES AS OF THE PREVIOUS WITNESSES CONTINUES. 

                             14) SEPTEMBER 16, 1998 HEARING (with comments and observations from

AT THE CONTINUATION OF THE TRIAL TODAY, PRIVATE PROSECUTOR ATTY. 
                                                JOSHUA DACUMOS CONDUCTED DIRECT EXAMINATION ON PROSECUTION WITNESSES, MARIO MIŅOZA 
                                                AND MANUEL CAMINGAO, BOTH OF WHICH ARE TRICYCLE DRIVERS BY OCCUPATION. 

                             15) SEPTEMBER 17, 1998 HEARING (with comments and observations from

FOR THE ELEVENTH TIME, A PROSECUTION WITNESS WAS AGAIN PRESENTED IN COURT 
                                                WITH THE  ACCUSED NOT REPRESENTED WITH LAWYERS OF THEIR OWN CHOICE. THE ACTING CHIEF-OF-POLICE 
                                                OF THE TOWN WHERE AN UNIDENTIFIED DEAD BODY OF A LADY WAS FOUND, WAS PRESENTED BY PROS. 
                                                GALANIDA. HE WAS NEVER CROSS-EXAMINED BY ANY DEFENSE LAWYER.

                             16) SEPTEMBER 21, 1998 HEARING (with comments and observations from
                                the webmaster) 
THREE MORE PROSECUTION WITNESSES WERE PRESENTED DURING THIS HEARING. THE 
                                                FIRST WITNESS WAS MANUEL RODRIGUEZ, THE ALLEGED PHOTOGRAPHER. THE SECOND WAS THE EMBALMER, 
                                                DIONISIO ENAD. AND THE THIRD, A POLICE OFFICER, SPO1 ANTONIO SABAL, JR. 
                                                          UNFORTUNATELY, THE ACCUSED WERE STILL NOT BEING REPRESENTED BY LAWYERS OF THEIR OWN CHOICE. 
                                                IF THEY WERE, ANY LAWYER WOULD HAVE PUNCTURED THEIR TESTIMONIES FULL OF HOLES. THE COURT APPOINTED 
                                                PUBLIC DEFENSE LAWYERS, KNOWING THAT THEY WERE NOT THE CHOICE OF THE ACCUSED, DID NOT ACTIVELY 
                                                PARTICIPATE IN THE DELIBERATIONS.
